Projects and Achievements

The Hijaz Square Rehabilitation Project aims to improve the urban and service conditions of the square as one of the key public spaces serving the local community. The project focused on enhancing the role of the square as a safe and comfortable place for daily movement and gathering, contributing to stronger social interaction and improved quality of life.

The project was implemented by EDC in cooperation with the Popular Action Committee, within the framework of community-based initiatives, with active participation from the local community in identifying needs and priorities. Rehabilitation works included organizing the public space, addressing visual disorder, and improving pedestrian usability.

The project contributed to reactivating the square as a functional and attractive public space, enhancing safety and comfort for users, and positively impacting social activity and everyday life in the surrounding area.
